Washington, DC – May 29, 2018 – Practical Solutions Incorporated (PSI) announced that they will have products and services listed on the Cloud Computing Services Special Item Number (SIN) 132-40 under the General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70, federal government’s largest and most widely-used listed acquisition vehicle. PSI, a technology and cloud solutions leader in the commercial and federal sectors, initially got on the GSA Schedule 70 on March 5, 2018 and are now very excited to provide centralized, streamlined access to cloud computing services through SIN 132-40.

SIN 132-40 is for all of cloud technology offerings within Schedule 70 and makes it less complicated for agencies to acquire cloud services. Purchasing from pre-approved vendors allows agencies to cut through red tape and receive goods and services faster. A vendor doesn’t need to win a GSA Schedule contract to do business with U.S. government agencies, but having a Schedule contract can cut down on administrative costs for both vendor and agency.

PSI’s Director of Security Assurance and Compliance says, Practical Solutions is very pleased to make our services available through GSA. By reducing the procurement challenge, our SIN listing in the GSA Schedule 70 contract helps Practical Solutions and prospective government clients focus on what matters most: efficiently assessing and resolving critical technical and engineering challenges. With easy access to our products and services, government agencies will be able to streamline the way they run their operations—and the way they conduct business.”

Practical Solutions, Inc. is a SBA Certified 8(a) Technology Solutions Provider meeting government and commercial client’s business needs in four domains: Computing, Assurance, Security, and Engineering (CASE). Established in 1997 by technical and engineering professionals who designed, developed, and implemented innovative technology solutions for some of the largest government and enterprise organizations world-wide.

IT Schedule 70 is a long-term contract issued by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to a commercial technology vendor.  Award of a Schedule contract signifies that the GSA has determined that the vendor’s pricing is fair and reasonable and the vendor follows all applicable laws and regulations.
